Thanks

Well since the search is down I have an idea and need someone with experience to tell me if this will work. I bought some pan head bolts 2 sizes, about 1/4" and 3/8" long, I also bought some nuts, if I use these nuts and bolts will I have any interference in installing them or them causing any interference with anything on the door top?
Thanks

I guess I will keep talking with myself I went ahead and use the smaller nuts, I drilled out the old plastic posts that the sweep was held by, I sanded the studs flush and inserted the nuts into the sweep and sill. The nuts were short enough to catch one thread for the bolt and it seems like a better attachment than stock. I wish my cam didn't die or I would post a pic, the only thing I am a little worried about is the nuts but they barely stick out like a 1/16 of an inch on the inside of the sills so I think I have solved my problem

Let me post a few pics and let me know what you think. The first one is of the nut on the inside of the sill.

This one is the pan head screw sitting flush with the inner sweep.

I will be putting these on the car as soon as I get my window sweep, do you think I should reattach them to the door panel or leave them unattached. I know it will be easier to take the door panels off but will it look messed up?
