question for anyone who knows how to do custom fiberglassing?????

I am redoing the entire interior on my car IN FIBERGLASS!!!!!! I came across some complex curves I need to have in order to make the dash, rear panels, ext to “flow like water”. Most of the time the fleece can give me this curve but this is a whole different story!!!!! I was thinking of using chicken wire(the one with tiny holes) to get me this curve, but I have so many multiple curves to deal with, it will be extremely hard to bend the wire this way, I could do this but it will take forever to do….. I want to know what some of you use for this problem or if anyone has a better suggestion to this problem?

also if you want to know what i want it to look like look at the interior of an Aston Martin

You use fleece by stretching it over the shape you want. As you've discovered, it only works for convex shapes. If you want to make a concave shape, make another template that attaches from the front to push the fleece where you want it to sit. Once you're happy with it, remove it, wrap it in tin foil and spray it with cooking spray or mold release, get the fleece soaked in resin, then reinstall the piece to push the fleece where you want it.

Another option is to carve the shape you want out of foam, cover it in foil, and 'glass right over it.

you can go to homedepot and get large thick sheets of foam. Then bond them together to make a BIG piece.

You can also use a 2 part foam...make it whatever shape you want. It sets up quickly too.

Plus that stuff will be rigid enough that it will be easy to shape. If you try to shape the soft squishy crap from Wal Mart or Jo Ann Fabrics you'll go nuts.
