taking off the door panels. help please

taking off the door panels. help please

i need to replace my passanger side mirror. what is the easy way to take off the panel. is there anything i should look out for. thanks

get a long flat blade and easily pry the panel away from the door. First you have to remove the arm rests and plstics. The panel is held on by plastic rivits, you might break them, no big deal, go to autozone or advance and get some more from them. They WILL break, so dont feel bad.

you also have to remove the outer weather stripping which has a few small bolt type screws, once you do that, you can get at the mirror. The mirror is held on by 2 nuts.

It's been a while since I did it. I simply left my mirrors off. Personally, I dont want to see the cop behind me!
