New gfx
While at a swap meet last saturday i found a deal on some gfx from an 85 z28. the guy sold me the nose, chin spoiler, side skirts, 1 door peice, the back bumper, three doors and a fender for 80 bucks and what i was wondering is can i fill in the place on the side skirts where th z28 emble goes with bodyfiller? i also want to fill in the emblem place on the nose . when i install the gfx im going to paint the car and shave the door handles so i dont want any emblems to spoil the smooth look.
Thanks,
Kevin R.

I shaved the emblem on the nose of my car, but was warned that if the area flexed too much it could crack the filler. As long as the filler isn't too thick should be fine. For the side gfx the area where the emblem is pretty sturdy, and I don't think that it would flex enough to crack filler.
Good luck man, worst case pop the filler back out of the indentations, and find a new method.

im not sure on this so someone correct me if im wrong.
i THINK the gfx themselves are actually fiberglass. i could be wrong. id say find out for sure first, haha. but then if they really are, then go to wal mart and get a fiberglass repair kit and just paste away

yes U could fill them in. But thats were the screws are at that hold it to the fender.. U would have to make some kind of braket to hold them in the front.
And you could just use reg filler. Just make sure u get all the paint off.
