Rust in engine bay

What's the best way to get rid of rust in thhe engine bay? I also have it on my headlight mounts and hood latch/release parts.

Depends on how much. Sand blasting/sanding/repainting is best. If it's just a little some liquid or gel rust remover will work.

It's pretty much the same as removing rust from anywhere else, You can sand or wire wheel (or probably combination of the two), or if you have everything out, just sandblast it. I bought 40# blaster from Harbor freight and blasted everywhere under the car and the entire engine bay. It is a disposable unit but way faster than anything else I've tried. Kind of messy but works great.
