t-tops

I have recently bought a camaro with t tops and they are not very transparent. You can barely see anything through them. Others that I have seen basically look like tinted glass. Is this some kind of after market part or option.

I know my stock ones from 88 are mirrored/privacy tint, you can barely see out and can't see in. Is this what you are talking about?
