classic industries sells leather seat cover kits for our cars for around 3 or 4 hundred, as far as taking it to a re-upholstery shop i was quoted anywhere from 300 to 1200, and mind you i am only looking to get my 2 front seats covered because i dont run the back ones. fortunately i met a lady that runs her own shop so she'll do them for a hundred or two. as soon as i get seat warmers, figure out how to rig some seat belt harnesses, and decide on a color i'll get it done.

If your serious about leather, consider other methods like buying used 4th gen leather seats. No need to take to a shop or anything, plus they go in third gens fairly easy. I have seen a full set (front and rears)of good condition used leather 4th gen seats go for $300-$400.

Plus it'll give your 3rd gen a unique look. But if your looking to just re-upholster the seats you already have, it's just a matter of who is the cheapest in your area.

OK ... let's assume you want to keep things as original as possible.

I can't find "real" leather covers anywhere. I've found aftermarket "leather-like" vinyl for around $300. Anybody know where to get a set of real leathers?

This new software automatically changes my url titles and it irritates me.

ya the idea about putting 4th gen ones in is a good one. i saw some leather seats at checker, not a 4th gen camaro one, but ill take a look at them and see if they are even decent seats. i doubt it, but its worth a look
