4th gen seats with lumbar
I got 4th gen seats, black leather, electric, with lumbar support on driver and passenger side.
I know many of you have installed these and that the seats basically bolt right into the 3rd gen. Can someone supply tricks and tips on how to wire and route the lumbar hoses and electric? My car currently has cloth seats with power/electric driver seat.

There are raised cutouts on the side of the 3rd gen center consules by where the seatbelts are. I routed my wireing harness under my center consule through them openings. There is just enough room, and it does not affect how your consule sits, and you can't see the harness when the seats are in. I also took the pigtail out of the donor car (2000 T/A) and replaced my factory power seat pigtail with it so it would be plug & play. I'm just about done with my 2 year project 86 Z so hopefully I will get some pics up soon of my interior. Its all black with ebony leather.

The easiest way is to have the complete harness. There are basically 2 wires(pos/neg).Route the wires over the trans tunnel to the Dr/Pass seat area. There are slits in the carpet so the harness can exit thru.I kept my original Dr.side power seat track when i switched over to 97 T/A power lumbar seats.I did have to relocate the power seat switch to the inner side of seat, between the seat/console.I also swapped to a (gasp)ford taurus switch. Its a lower profile so it doesnt stick out as much.just had to make the cut outs in the side cover & metal brace behind the cover.I also used the manual tilt Dr.seat track from the T/A on the Pass side. This required me to fab some rear seat track mounting brackets.
