Looks real nice. I plan on doing the same mod when I find some decent seats for a good price. Where did get them from?

Awesome. I have almost the identical seats sitting in my house waiting to go in. mine are from a 99 Z28 , how about those? I am wondering about the seatbelt shoulder strap holder how we going to get that thing right ?

I found them on Ebay after looking for months and months..these babies were hard to find haha.

For the Shoulder straps, I'm waiting to find my black seat belt set and im gonna put them threw before i hook the new seat belts up...my original plan was to cut a little slit in it, but then i figured whats the point im buyin new seatbelts ill just thread them threw.
----------
and poject '86....check Hawksthirdgenparts.com for those red seats! i saw them on there a long time ago they might still be there...there 4th gen seats recovered in red. good luck!

Looks fantastic! I did the same swap to my third gen, but opted for the cloth seats as I hate leather in the summer (too hot) and winter (too cold), but I think the leather looks a lot better.

That is what i did and why i did it and on top of that i saved prolly $500-600 by not getting a leather set. I love the style color combo of my black and grey 4th gen seats i just wish they offered the color on leather.

Im not a fan of the trans am leather seats as i think the camaro ones look a whole lot better, they look very nice

I put Gray/Black cloth seats in the GTA, Perfect condition $360 after shipping. IMO my favorite mod yet, it completely wakes the interior up and matches the black/grey interior perfect!

I paid $200 for mine (out of a car with 20k on it) and picked them up in Virginia -- just a two-hour drive from my place. Good, I love EBAY!

On the belt clips - there were some years of 3rd gens that had seatbelt clips that were factory split - I found a pair and snagged them up - they split from outside to inside, where the screws hold them to the seat - and there's no visible line. They only have one hole (not like the 1990 - 1992 ones), but more like what the 4th gen clips look like. Sorry, I don't know what years - but maybe check with Hawk's or something for them - saves trying to get the belt through that hole.

I had to cut a slot in my seatbelt straps up top. I could very easily get some of the slot that is where they screw into from the earlier years but just havent got around to it.

looks killer!

You got me beat on appearance, but i think the early style 4th gen seats have more bolster support.

sweet 87!

My factory 89 Formula clip has the split. Seats suck, but at least the clips kick @$$

BTW.. the seats look killer!

My 91Z28.

I wont say how much I nabbed these for (you all would be mad) although its in another thread.
Found them in a boneyard in a totaled Z28. I forget the year. Anybody might know what year this style was in?

Those are leather seats out of a 1993-1997 camaro.
the 1997 camaro's had the newer style dash and seats though so its like 1993-1996..looks real good!
