Permatex.....?

Has anyone ever used PERMATEX to attach a headliner(New)? If so let me know how well it works.

it works great to attach the cloth to the board, but it wont actually hold it in place on the roof, im not sure what you ment by working, so there ya have it.

Sorry about that, I meant the fabric to the fibre board, NOT to the roof of the car.I wasn't sure if anybody used it because it seems everybody suggests 3M.Anyhow I figure the more GOOD products people actually try and get good results, the better off we'll all be!

Stuff works great for a headliner. I just used the same thing just a month ago for my headliner .

Well it seems to me that this product does what it says. Can one can do the headliner in the 3rd gen cars? Let me know.

I used a different glue, but as long as it's heavy duty! Here is what I did (i have my own thread)

Now, I took lots of pictures (link to pix inside) so feel free to browse. You may want to get a "kinda stretchy" material... because the material I used does not really stretch, and getting around them corners were tricky!!!!
