firebird fenders?

firebird fenders?

hey, i have a 1991 firebird formula and i need a new fender, i found one from a 86 but is it the same? thanks

hey there yes they physically are the same 82-92, all birds,

the difference is in whether it has the vent cut out in it or not

i believe 90 was the last year of the side vent cutouts


otherwise, thats the only difference in them all

Fast68 is correct.

All fenders from 82-92 are the same in the basis.

82-84 TA Fenders have larger fender vent cutouts then the 85-90 TA models.

91-92 TA Fenders had no cutouts.

82-92 Firebird Fenders never had cutouts.

Yet you have to check on the GFX holes. Firebirds up to 91 actually never had GFX, 91 and 92 TA and Firebirds both had GFX.

wachout for holes for ground effects too...most aftermarket fenders if not all will have the cut outs and hole for the ground effects...

guys i have another dumb question, i am in need of a drivers side headlight bracket, do i have to get a bracket off of a 91 or 92 bird or will any year work, thanks again

I'm not sure which part the bracket is but just remember the size of the lights changed ond the 91-92 moddels.

The vent cutouts are the same from '82-'90.

gfx holes good point there, but is a simple fix

alright got a fender today! but about the headlights, i am in need of the bracket, and is that different then the other years? thanks again
