Removing Door Handles (Not Shaved)

Well my passanger side ecterior door handle was broken off when I got it. So I bought the replacement but I'm having a hard time removing the base of the original. The part that has 2 prongs going into the door and being held on with some circle type thing, they seem flimsy but man can they hold on .

So yeah basically how would you go as to removing the 2 things on the back? I can't really get a good angle from the inside because of the window glass and there really isn't any hole going directly to it.

Anyway thatnks for any help .
