Anyone got a good way to pop out hail dmg without stripping the paint and filling them in? Im gonna be painting the car soon anyway, i just want as little filler as possible; alos dont want my car looking like crap as im drinving it until then. I tried searching, but it wasnt working for some reason, so i thought i would ask. thanks!

I assume the dents are on the roof, you could take your headliner out and push the dents out from the inside, that way you would use even less filler.

There are guys/shops out there that will come and fix this without using paint or filler. Just do a google search or look in the yellow pages.

P.S. Best way to fix hail damage is park your car in a carport

actually

Thanks for the replies, but niehter are helpful. My car has T-tops, so theres no roof dmg. The dmg is on the doors, quarter panels, hatch and hood. I dont have money to pay someone to do it, or i would. And the same thing applies to the carport. So anyone else got any ideas?

At the shop I work at, we have a guy come to do PDR (paintless dent removal) work on hail vehicles. He charges between $30-$60 per dent. It's easy for this guy to make $5000.00 a week just pushing dents

Hate to say it but in most cases its cheaper to replace the panels than pull each individual dent

There are special suction cup tools that pull dents one at a time (as long as there is no crease) but even then youll be at it for a very long time

Try it

Take a dry erase marker and circle EVERY single dent on the car. There are alot more than you think

Now figure 10-60 mins per dent to pull readjust and correct until its right

Few dents because a HUGE undertaking

If cheap is the name of your game then you might should invest in the tool and spend time on prepping the car. Alot of time
