new door glass vs new door

I have a project TA which is missing the drivers side door glass (roll up.) If its possible I'd like to replace the glass. How difficult is this? I'd really like to keep the door because its good otherwise.

PS, I'm a firm believer in repairing something rather that just replacing it. So thats definitely what I'd rather do.

Thanks
Rex

Its tricky, took me a while to figure out how to replace one. Its easier to take one out if you can move the window up and down.

It takes some patience, and will take you a few minutes to figure it out but its not impossible. One thing that will make it easier is to remove your mirror and outer door weather stripping along with the felt tipped adjusters along the inside of the door. If you have nice paint you may want to put some non-stick tape along the edge of the door at the top.
