Some one shot out the drivers side window in my firebird. It's an 89 firebird. Can a camaro window be swapped out for my broken firebird window or are they differant?

 

The doors are interchangeable so I would think the glass is too. I swapped doors a couple of years ago, and the power accessory wires all matched up.

Remember the cars shared almost everything ... engines, transmissions, front and rear glass, doors , t-tops (and their leaks), computers, electric switches, exhaust, etc. You get the point. They basically made minor tweaks to sell more cars ... different appearance appeals to different people. Like Chevy trucks versus GMC trucks.

Shot out hugh? Wow!

 

That's not the worst of it who ever shot out the window in my firebird, also shot out my 4runner window, and thats my daily driver and kid hauler. I was wondering if a camaro window could be swaped for a firbird window? Cause some of the stuff isn't the same between these two.

From an 89 camaro - yes. From an earlier camaro/firebird like 82-84, not sure.

If all the adjustment bolts(the bolts on the inside door panels) are in the same locations than it should be swappable. You could call up your local GM parts dealership or GM car dealership and ask them and they could probably look it up. Or maybe call up an expert at a glass shop.

I'm about 90% sure all the 82-92 side window glass(and all the parts directly attached to the window) are the same.
