Hatch trim piece is oxidizing...how to replace?

That little metal trim piece around my hatch window is kinda oxidized on the one side and a tiny bit of rust is beginning to show through. Basically can you just buy a new piece? If not, does it even come off the car so that i could repaint it myself?? Or do i have to like paint it while on the car (which might not be the best idea....)

Maybe You could try sanding it down and touch it up with a paint marker...

it comes off the glass but taking the glass off isnt fun then you have to realign it to get it back on right well that was my case when i took my hatch off anyway. but i would just sand it, tape it, and paint it

Spraypaint's your best bet and can turn out looking pretty good, I wouldn't try to make a big job out of it, like said, sand it, tape it, and paint it. You can use a little etching primer(in a spraypaint can) to make it stick well and hold uo too.

the word 'like'

Don't mean to be petty, but with every girl the the country seeming to say 'like' every second word, is it necessary to TYPE the word into 'like' every sentence?
