how to take off gfx
I have a 92 bird with gfx and a deer hit me in the pass. door.
I got a new door without gfx and need to swap it from wrecked door.
How do i get the gfx off the door. Any screws or clips. what tools needed
Just wondering what to expect I would hate to break anything due to my ignorance

I had a B**** hit me in my 86 TA, the door i replaced was the passenger side, the door i got was a camaro door in excellent shape for 50$, but it was a no GFX door, i had to pull the old ones off carefully due to the soft mounting material, i then measured the old doors holes and drilled them on the new door, i made the holes a little bit larger for a tiny bit of adjustment to get it right, i used newspaper to raise the new door to the correct height, once i found the right mounting level i tightened the hinges, be patient and it will go, my 86 has the removable vents so that i was able to get to the door bracket easily, but be careful for this too is not to be rough with.

after you remove your inner door cover, at the bottom you will notice a bunch of nuts, remove those nuts (10mm socket or 7/16" i think...i forget, its been a while). you will need a socket and about a 6" or longer extention and a ratchet. and dont break the nuts either because you need them.

Just to add to gramps, there are also two "stub" looking things at the front lower corner, AND, the rear lower corner. They look like a pyramid (i dont remember how they come off), but i basically took vice grips and wiggled them loose, and popped off with a screw driver.
For the bolts, i beleive they are 10mm, when u pull off the inner cover, you will notice there are little holes already made in the steel part of the door. Stick the DEEP 10mm socket in there with an extension and unscrew.
Do you need to swap the rocker too? Or you just wanna replace the door?
