Fog lights?

Fog lights?

A dumb question. On my 88 SC I have that little rubber/plastic grill. Am i able to remove it and mount fog lights like ive seen on most Gen III's . Thanks

I pulled my factory grill out and on the cross bar that the factory fogs normally attach I mounted some generic 2 X 3 driving lights then put 100W bulbs in them. they are recessed a bit, but put out more light than my Silverstar headlights. all in all Im happy with it, and at 15 bucks for the lights, an anothe 20 for the bulbs to me it was worth it. I have to have a front plate, so buying the bowtie grill just to cover the bowtie diddnt make sence to me. Ill try to post a pic later when it warms up and gets light outside for ya.

Use the HyperWhites from Wal-Mart. $40 a set. Change the 55W to 100W bulbs and you are good to go.

thats pretty much what I did, but I diddnt like the size of the hyper's so I got some generic driving light they had. Im happy with it.

Awesome, I really like that look, so thats good that I can do it. Thanks for the help. I'll do a bit of searching and will go for it.
