Hey whats up. My dad and I picked up a 92 B4C a few months ago. After doing some stereo wireing I noticed the passenger toe board is rusted to the point its crunchy. Also while changing spark plug wires, I noticed rust froming on the firewall. Is there any other points of the car I should check.

 

well, just from the one i had, and my little knowledge so far, id say check the quarter panels. the inner lip may show some rust. also, check the fenders. mine had rusted out so badly all i had to do was lightly pull at the passenger ground effect to get it to rip outta the fender. also, check the hatch too. where the latch meets the pull down motor had rusted out on me too. guy i bought it from beat that car so bad.

 

check behind the rear bumper underneath, there should be a metal lip there that will no doubt be rusted. scan the whole floor board while your at it. dont forget the awe so loveable battery compartment.

 

Pull your interior out check your floors check behind the drivers side kick panel area because if your floors have the cruncin sound thats means you got some holes in your floor.

 

What I got from this is there is more than just a few rust spots on the car. Since I am only 18 and still in school without a job, would the best thing to do be selling the car.
