That’s the name of the paint color on the “new” ’87 TA, paint code 74, 8748… Looks like GM used it in all of it’s model lines from the early ‘80’s till ’92.
Does anyone know where I can get some in some touch up spray cans?
The thing has a bunch of “blemishes” (read bondo and other screwed up areas) that I intend to fix as I have time and would like to fog the repair with a proper colored top coat to seal it up and make it look OK till I go and paint the whole car.
I haven’t even been able to find the older paint code listings online, but looking in the lookups at the autoparts store they usually have a “pre ‘96” listing, which doesn’t seem to help. Looks like a paint code 74 was always some sort of red, but they all look to be lighter colored than the car.

I'd call a local reputable body shop. They should be able to give you the code at least - more than likely could hook you up with the touch-up paint.
