Hey i just bought an 82' t/a, and when i got it the lock hadn't been reinstalled after the paint was done. I think im missing something, cause the lock sits about 1/2 an inch back. I do have the spacer on the back of the lock, but it looks like its missing something else. Is there a rubber peice im missing or something. Thanks J

sits back to far ? youmean towards rear of the car and wont go into the hole in the center piece ? or ?

i could take a pic from my 82 t/a if i knew what to take a pic of that might help you ?

the lock should jut go right into the hole
