Relacing Weatherstrip

I am going to be replacing the door and roof rail weatherstripping on a 1992 camaro. I have not looked at it good yet but what holds it on and how do I reattach it. Any expertiece on doing this appreciated.

Re: Relacing Weatherstrip

T-Top or Hardtop?

I just pulled my T-Top ones out last night.. There are two plastic pins at the bottom of the weatherstrip on the rear side, pry these out, i used a chisel... then the weatherstripping itself runs inside a chanel up and around the T-Tops, its also held in with a lot of weatherstripping adhesive..

Once the rubber is out, you will see the channels i was talking about and you will see they are all screwed in with 3 or 4 screws, take these out and pry the chanels off the body, they will prob be stuck down too..

Oh, there are also metal tabs on the front and rear corners of the roof where the T-Top pins fit in, you will need to remove the A-pillars for the front and some plastic peice for the rear, just unbolt the two bolts and remove the meatl tab, that holds the weatherstriping up..

Peice of cake really
