Damage to rear of car; what are these parts/where do I find them? I have pics!

Well, at some point in the last 24 hours or so, my car was mysteriously damaged. It suffered a nasty scratch on the rear passenger side, during which a chunk of fiberglass was torn off. The weatherstripping above the passenger side tailight has also been removed. Thursday morning, I had it up at my usual mechanic to check a code that came up. I didn't think to check the car for damage after they finished, because in all my dealings with this mechanic, there's never been a problem before. I went straight to work from there. After work is when I discovered the damage. I think this damage most likely occured at the mechanic's place, for several reasons:

1.) I was parked well away from where other cars were likely to park and there was no trace of the missing weatherstripping or fiberglass chunk.

2.) There's faint white streaks where the paint was scratched (the walls of the shop were white).

3.) The damage looks like something just grazed the car (for example, when it backed out of the mechanic's garage). I don't see any way a car door could have hit the tail end of another vehicle and if a car had hit me in the parking lot, the damage should have been far worse.

Here's a picture of the scratch/gouged fiberglass- sorry for lack of quality; my camera sucks:

----------
I'm not too concerned with the scratch, since the paint needs to be redone, anyway. But is there any way I can repair the gouge temporarily? If not, what is this part called, where can I get a replacement and what's the best way to pop the rest of it off without damaging the body?

----------
And finally...where can I get a replacement weatherstripping gasket for the passenger side, above the rear taillight? Haven't had any luck with Autozone, Napa or Year One...

That is part of the rear spoiler, You can remove it by 3 bolts inside the truck area behind the panel. They are fairley cheap i see whole spoilers go for 30 or so on ebay. If you have one with a third brakelight then make shure you get a spoiler piece that is for a third brake light spoiler. They are alittle diffrent so make shure you get the right one.

Modern Day Muscle has both of em that you need.

Scroll down to the very bottom. They have the side piece you need (different ones for whether you have a third brake light or not) and that rubber mounting gasket that you are missing too.

Thanks; which leads me to another question... until I've got that new gasket to put on, do I need to worry about water getting inside my taillight or into the trunk somehow and causing problems? Sorry if that's a stupid question, but I don't know much about that part of the car and the weather forecast has been rainy.
