Need some advice

I've got a chance to buy an '88 Firebird roller for a project car. While I've done other project cars in the past, I'm new to 3rd generation F-bodies. What are the weak areas in these cars and what places are most likely to rust? It would be good to know what to look for in advance when I check out the car closely, so I can either buy it at a bargain price or walk away.

Re: Need some advice

check the doors make sure theres not alot of sag in them,#rd gens pretty much rust in areas that other cars rust, wheels wells, bottom of doors, lower fender, ect, ect Get some good SFC if going to put a big motor in. I'm sure theres more. I think overall 3rd gens are pretty good cars that were out in most of the 80's
