I need to get my 92 z painted and am wondering if anyone has used macco for paint? My second question is would it be hard to do the body work myself, i have the time and would want to learn. Are there any books out there i could buy?

Re: 2 questions
If you have the time and desire it will be worth more than the money you would save by taking it somewhere else.
I'm sure regionally, Maaco's vary in quality, but they did a ****-poor job on my old hood. I had NUMEROUS chips within a week. I was later told they did NO pre-paint prep. That's the most important part...
I have an air-compressor and plan to do my own body/paint work... I would google it and learn as much as you can... Bottom line, the less paint used, the better.
