hey, i have an 85 camaro RS w/ 350sbc and 5 speed, i know, but anyways it's the most mismatched oddly configured car i've ever owned. it has manual roll up windows, no power locks, no power hatch release, manual mirrors, am/fm radio with no cassette even, no cruise control or intermittent wipers, and yet has power drivers seat?wtf, but that's not what confuses me the most. it has a sunroof, first i figured aftermarket, then i noticed a vin number etched into the glass, the same vin number that's etched in all the windows... and it's the same style sunroof gm used in other cars in the same era... so someone please help with the madness and explain???

 

They prolly borrowed the glass from a JY car and made it work on the camaro

My 92 doesn't have the VIN etched in any of the glass. Probably something the previous owner had done, there are kits available to do that.
