hey guys. im new to the forum.....i just purchased a third gen a week ago as a project car and had some questions. i have manual side mirrors, and neither one of them work (glass still in good shape). the driver side mirror points straight at the ground and it wont hold its position.....and the passenger mirror either points at the ground or in the sky but it holds its position (i'll spraying that with WD40 when i get a chance and hopefully that will fix it). but my question is, is there a way to fix the driver side mirror, or will i have to replace it? cause being that it is still in good shape, i would prefer to salvage it.

As far as I know manual mirrors dont pop out like powered ones do so opening them up requires breaking teh glass

Id just go to a JY and find a new set that are the same color as your car

 

thanks for the info. i guess this weekend ill be taking a trip to the jy. hopefully i can find some powered ones instead of manual.

 

mines manual...u got to move the glass around till u see a screw there are 2 screw and disconnect the cable...i dnt no how to stop it from moving
