adjusting back hatch??

Car: 1988 Trans Am GTA
Engine: 5.7L Ported SLP Runners and Intake
Transmission: 700r4 w/ shift kit
adjusting back hatch??
Well I'm somewhat new to 3rd gens and am not sure if my hatch is supposed to look like this, I know its messed up some. But what exactly is wrong and how do i fix it?

That's common, but there is a tech article here on how to fix that.
It walks you through removing and alligning the decklid to get proper fitment.
I've done it, just be careful and have some helpers.
