Firebird/camaro floor question.
Alright i need to replace the floor in my camaro (89 rs) the drivers side. But i very soon might be buyign a 91 firebird. its got some nice parts on it so i plan on stripping it down and sellign the parts off. But now im wondering if i can cut the floor our abotu a foot square where your feet are. Do they both have the same floor? or is the camaro diffrent from the firebird. I dont want to spend the time to bend up the floor if i can just take the time and cut out the peice. Ive never been in a 3rd gen firebird to knwo how its set up floor wise. so any help sweet. I dont knwo if this is a dumb post or not. Seems good to me.

Re: Firebird/camaro floor question.
I kinda have some criss-cross questions of the same nature if the orginal poster doesnt mind.
What about rear bumper bracing? Friend needs one, all the camaro ones are rusted, but the yard has some good firebird ones.
Also, will the rocker/door GFX from a bird physically fit dimension wise on a camaro? Bolt patterns may be different?

yes same, your good to go. for flat section i just pick up the same size dia. sheet metal and rework it. if you do a good job it can look nice and much better then a rusted floor.
