Whadda I do about this?

If you look at this pic I took earlier, you will probrably notice ( I Hope lol ) the gap where the plastic has seperated from the side of my door.

What should I do to fix this problem? As of the moment the curve is pretty rigid and wants too keep in place.

btw- does anyone know if the car looks decent without the panel? A Pic maybe...

Re: Whadda I do about this?

is it warped ? or just loose or ?

do you know of an old retired body man in your town ?

i have a neighbor who is and just for reasons like this

that gap definitely needs to be eliminated because waterand dirt and junk getitng inbetween it and the door will eventually cause rust and rot over time

good luck

hmm...its only that lower door trim gfx, i'd just pull it off and see if you can't straighten it back out. be much better than water and dirt collecting in there.

Re: Whadda I do about this?

I've seen this on quite a few cars. I guess whatever method that was used to attach this piece at the factory wears off over time. My Z28 had this on the passenger side and I thought it was warped out of shape but my bodyman reattached it and it looks perfect. Sorry I'm not too sure on what he used though..

I'll prolly just have my body friend look and re-attach it.
