Hatch compatability, easy question
I need to replace the hatch assembly on my 89 Formula. I know any hatch from third gen Firebirds will fit, would I be correct in assuming that third gen Camaro hatches would fit as well?

Yes, I'm pretty sure they're both the same.
Lon at Top-Down Solutions would know for sure.

Re: Hatch compatability, easy question
Only difference may be in spoiler bolt hole locations and such as that...
Re: Hatch compatability, easy question
All thirdgen hatches are the same, and as far as the bolt holes on the decklid, they are different depending on spoiler etc.... but the decklids can be swapped from window to window.
But, if you are planning on using the stock Formula spoiler, you will need a back window from any 85-90 Trans Am, Formula or GTA, as the clips for the aero spoiler are welded onto the window frame.
