Re: Por 15 question
I dont know of anyone that has used it on a roof... not sure why you would. However, if you intend to use Por-15 in an area that is exposed to sunlight, you will need to top coat it. Por-15 tends to fade due to not having any UV protection. You need to follow Por-15's steps and guidelines to top coating it.
Would be easier to just use some urethane paint or base coat clear coat or something. Por-15 is better for floors, suspension parts, underhood stuff, etc in my opinion.

Re: Por 15 question
While you could do it, it would be sort of a waste. If it's painted good with regular body paint, it wont rust since it's a flat surface exposed to sun and wind. Por-15 is better for say, your T-top weatherstripping channels etc.

Re: Por 15 question
I did my upper frame rails with por-15 silver.. and since I didnt have the fenders on, and it was exposed to the sun, keep in mind the car is in a garage.... after a few weeks, the silver turned green on me. Still works... but it changed colors.
