Of course. I think three bolts on the bottom of the metal piece that covers it. Three or four. Did that to mine. Keep the distributor sheild on the plenum though - water will come in that hole whether you like it or not.

what i was wondering is is there any after market air intakes that would go to the hhole after ive taken that steel piece off??
