I cant bare to even think obout this, but not two months after having my 91RS repainted in factory code teal turned candy with 6 coats of clear...... I go out a driveway at a slight wrong angle, (I always leave at an angle) and I hit the front left corner of my repaired and repainted spoiler!!

For others that are re-doing their 3rd. Gens and have a damaged spoiler, to do it right....REPLACE IT. If you bondo the repair it will break the first time you tap it!!! I should have known, I actually did know, but my body guy did such a nice job fixing it, I thought I could cut a corner, it was the only one I did cut, and it is the only one I should have never have cut. Now, I not only have to replace the spoiler, but get it painted to match !!!! My car was painted by "Bubba" at " pimp yo ride, house of candy colors" a/k/a "Perfect Paint & Body" in Miami Fla. So if anyone can match the paint he can.

Has anyone ever seen a bumper bar or what-not to protect our precious spoilers from getting scrathed in the nose??

The only protection for the nose that I know of is a bra.But that only protects from bugs and chips from rocks.I guess it would be a minor cushion against a slight bump.I've never had the one I won on Ebay on my '83 to really tell.


I know it's bad having just had her painted but at least our cars aren't as bad as the previous body Sebring coupes.One of my family owns a 2000 and has been thru 3 bumper covers from parking/speed bump scrapes(and it you notice 1 out 0f 5 will be ripped).
