The door latch on my 87 TA has stopped working totally. Will not work from inside or outside...is there maybe a way to repair it or would it be best to replace it? The guy i took it too said it was close to 400 bucks to get a new part...I think thats a bunch of bull. Any help is appreciated.

latch assembly,outer door handle spring,lock fork spring, and lock swtch retainer.
