where can i find the RPO codes for a 91-92 whale tail, 91-92 z28 hood blisters and high rise spoiler?

 

whale tail????? not sure I've heard them called that on the fbodies, if it were a VW bug then yeah I've heard the term. the closest I've seen for that is outa year one and they call it the TURBO II.($335.00 +s&h) as far as the RPO codes look under your console lid and run them thru the RPO list here.

 

if its not called a whale tall then whats the fiberglass spoiler for the 1991-1992 fomulas, trans ams and gtas? not the foam spoiler..

and im looking for a web listing, i know where i can look in my car...i wanna know what the RPO code is for a 1991-1992 formula trans am o gta fiberglass spoiler, and for a z28 high rise spoiler and hood blisters..

ive heard of mine refered to as a whale tail spoiler. this is the only one that is called that . Its a mecham trans am spoiler.

i've seen that wing on 91-92 slp firehawks start there for the code.

There is no RPO code for Hood Blisters, the 91/92 Formy/TA/GTA wing or high rise Z28 spoiler... they are part of the upgrade packages, not individual options.

 

you can still fin the mecham spoiler..do a search on google, its liek 600 bucks

 

found it at hawksthirdgenparts.com cost $350 not including shipping and its fiber glass. hey any body got pics of the turbo II wing i want to compare it to the macham wing.

 

I have here the 1991 Camaro dealer service manual, and it does list an RPO code for the Z28 hi-rise. Not sure why; I don't see one for the hood blisters.

It says it's D81.

yearone has the rpo code as D80 for the 91-92 firebird but they dont have a pic to see if its that whale tale or not but if you want to buy one hawks has it. for those wanting a mecham wing fbodymotorsports.com has it.

 

I would not be suprised if D80 just means Spoiler, not anything special outside of that being that the Camaro in 87-90 also had the RPO code D80 meaning the Camaro 3 piece spoiler. D81 means Aero Wing. D81 was also used in 88 and many other years...

For the 91/92 Firebird you would have the RPO D81.
