Car: 1986 caged out firebird
Engine: 454 = wheelies
Transmission: th400 stall and trans brake
Axle/Gears: 4:11 ford 9" with ladder bars
flat black paint help
i have a 1986 firebird that i just got all the body work done on and i am wanting to paint it primer black of flat black the car is a drag car and i am just wanting to know what is the best paint to use for it thanks eric

I know many will disagree because many don't like flat black, but I used John Deere Blitz Black on mine. From what I've read & been told it holds up over time. Mines only been done for less then a month so only time will tell.

i looked it up i like the look of it where did u get the paint how much is it an was it ez to paint with.

You get it at any John Deere store. The PN is TY25669, it was $27.79 a gallon. It was very easy to paint with. All I had was a Cambell Hausfield siphon feed gun to use.
