Lower Door Ground Effect Filler Panel Fell Off
Lower Door Ground Effect Filler Panel Fell Off
I can't believe there isnt a tech article or post about this. Well, after 3 years the ground effect on my door finally fell off (well with a little help). The piece is still in good shape but like the brackets on most cars with ground effects is history. I cooould fab one up out of aluminum or steel but I dont really want to if theres a easier solution. Classic Industries wants $200 for it and I'm not goin for that. I tried using 3M double sided tape when it was halfway gone but the tape fell off in a days time. Any suggestions?

i am sure your not the only person this has happened to . you may be the only person to admit to a repair such as you tried . learn from goof-ups , i'm not trying to flame . just use a better / proven method , or invent a new method . i'm an old man but some of the new glues/ epoxies never cease to amaze me . take a different aproach , or use a proven method .
