I thought about this also but could not see it actually flowing the lines of the car very well. I think it would look better if you found a pair of the trans am fender vents and put them right above the ground effects. Then routing some tubing around to behind the rotor would be alittle bit of work, but anything can be made to work with alittle bit of time and patience. I've been toying with this idea in my head for a while, but decided not to do it on my iroc, but plan to configure this on my firebird that I'm turning into a budget dd/autocross/cmc car. Post pics if you go through with it.
I'm not so sure that the fender vents would fit on that sliver of the 1/4 panel, and if it will it is a tight fit. A set of the long vents from the side of a trans am hood would work easily though. It wouldn't direct that much airflow though, but the rear brakes only do 40% of braking most of the time anyways.
Is there any difference between the fender vents from year to year?
