Front sheet metal question

This might be a dumb question but I am kinda new to 3rd gens so be easy: Will a complete Camaro front end fit on a Firebird ? By front end I mean fenders, hood, and front bumper.

Re: Front sheet metal question

I think they will, but the gfx holes on the fenders wont line up with the Firebird gfx. and by bumper do you mean the metal bumper or the bumper cover? also off topic, but 86TA, what does iirc mean?

Re: Front sheet metal question

Thanks guys

iirc = if i recall correctly (took me a while too)

The reason I asked is because I got a T/A real cheap that needs both front fenders and a bumper cover and the Camaro stuff is a dime a dozen and I like the look of them better.

Re: Front sheet metal question

cool, I'm still debating putting the 91-92 camaro gfx on to my 87 Trans Am, I think it'd look sweet. wonder how a camaro bumper cover will look on a Trans am.

Re: Front sheet metal question

I saw a red 91 Firebird (with GFX) at the local junkyard about a month ago that had a 91-92 Z28 front end on it. It really didn't look half bad. I've seen several in pics, but that's the only one I've ever seen in person.
