Re: power doors
motors and actuators just check your local auto supply stores. You will need a total of 12 1/4 inch rivits to put everything back in the door. It's not all that hard, but if you haven't done it before, it will take you a while. I had mine in and out in an hour, but i also sat there reading the information provided in the tech articles on the main page. If you go there and look at the power window swap pages, it explains how to take the regulator and motors out, and then putting them back in. Not terribly hard, just hard to get ahold of a rivit gun to handle the rivits, and it can be a pain to get rivits, i went to 5 GM dealers and nobody had em, 6th one had millions of em. Call ahead instead of wasting gas, they are called "Actuator/Regulator Rivits", they are for installing the window regulators and the power lock actuators, calling a GM dealer is the same, and i just got a dozen for $5, so it shouldn't be that bad. I think the motors are $60-$75, and i think actuators are cheaper than that, but if your opening up both doors, i would suggest doing it all in one shot. Also while everything is open, get sum white lithium greese and lube everything as you go, so that you won't have to take everything back apart, and everything should work properly.
Internet is your friend really...go to your local part stores online, like advanced auto or auto zone or whatever you have locally and check it all out before even going out.
