85 Camaro Impact bar and absorber into an 88 Iroc

Hello,
I have been searching for about 2 hours and somehow I cannot locate some information regarding the front impact bar and absorber on 3rd gens. Recently I went to the local pick your part and picked up a complete impact bar with absorber in very good condition. My question is, were there any major changes that will keep me from directly bolting on this part into my 88 Iroc. I plan to replace my front bumper and impact bar so that I can finally paint it. Please advice.

85 to 92 is all the same i've been told, so you shouldn't have any probelsm as long as nothing's from an SC then you should be good, i just got an impact bar, shock absorber, and front bumper cover all the other day from GM.. just gotta wait till my grandpa get's free time to help me put it on

'88 they started using the same kits on the SC as the z28 and irocs, so to confirm it a little bit more it should fit, so '88 and up base camaro will be the same. Should bolt right up. What year/model is the doner car???
