87 iroc hatch

87 iroc hatch

I can't seem to get my iroc hatch to close if u slam it down it locks but its not down completely..i dont think its a pull down hatch because it just pops to open the hatch and it doesn't look like the same set up as my 92

pull down motor could be bad. May need to be replaced.

Slam the Hatch on 3rd gen car and destroy the electric pull down. If it has a hatch release switch it has a electric motor,

Start by downloading the tech article on repairing these hatch pull-down units. The reason why it looks different is that there was a completely different pull-down unit used in late 91-92 cars.

Unplug the red/white stripe wire from the blue wire and check that you have +12 v at that red/white stripe wire.
