How hard is it to replace the exterior window felt?
It looks like it is just held on by some 7mm screws that I can get to if I take loose the top window guides and pull the glass out of the way. Is that really all there is to it? Are there any screws hidden behind the mirror?

Do you have new ones already. If so where did you buy. I'm getting the car painted soon, and need new felt.

I haven't bought anything yet. I was going to find out if GM still made them, but I forgot to find out.

yeppers a few 7mm screw, an open end wrench work great.. Use a cc to get the outside lip to sit correctly.. After the install let it sit in the sun for a while to help "form" the rubber...
