i looked up the laws on window tint in my area and found that if i want to tint my windows i can only do 35% on the rear window and a 6" none reflect strip across the top of the windshield. no tint is allowed on the front windows. i did a search a found everything from 5%=Black out, to 70%=next to nothing but every car i found had all the windows tinted. i want to see a car with just the rear window tinted to about 35%. do you think it would look stupid? would it be worth the money? any other opinions on the matter also appreciated

 

I will see if I can get you some pics of my 87 formula. I have the rear window only tinted out at 90%. It looks awesome, my opinion. I like it better than louvers and the cops do not bother me, either. I am going to be doing the front door windows with 35% this spring when I change out the outer/inner window sweeps.

 

if you could post pics of your car that would be great or if you have a cardomain.com link that i could look at that would work also.

 

Gotta hate our New Hampshire inspection. They peeled my tint off but i had them take it all off cause i didnt like the look of it too much. Exactly the reason im registering my car in good ole Florida where i go to school.

 

the strict laws of NH kinda suck but i know there are states out there with much more strict than 35% rear only. i think some states even say no tint!!

 

I didnt know we could only have 35% on the rear, Damn the guy i talked to said as long as there was no tint forward of the drivers seat than it was legal. I got failed for not having a functioning e-brake cable but wound up getting a one year pass because it is a discontinued part that was broken, That was after he fixed a few minor things i would never think a car could fail for. If i had pics of my car when he took the window tint off i would post them, but as soon as i saw the car i had him peel it off for me, Just didnt look right in my opinion but, to each their own.
