I am almost always an advocate for saving a car, but this time is one of the rare times I actually think the underside is too far gone to mess with economically even in the slightest. Basically, you would have to want this particular car for some sentimental reason for it to be worth the time, effort, and money. Usually I say try and save it though. This is one of those times though that there are enough of these cars left to let THAT one go...doesn't mean they are a dime a dozen and should all be thrown into a junkyard at the drop of a hat, but this one may have met the end of the line sadly :-(
