power windows help!!

power windows help!!

my windows go down slow and not smoothly and the motor is pretty loud also, i replaced the windows sweeps and weatherstriping..and it still does it...is the motor going bad? or is their a way i can fix it?

your question pretty much is the solution . loud motor , bad motor . sticking operation bad motor or linkage . when you remove motors check and fix/lube all linkage . not looking fwd. to day i need to do it .

Try cleaning and lubing before you start tearing into the motors--you may be surprised at the result (though the windows will always be slow compared to new cars). Since you'll be inside the doors anyway, you may wish to take some other positive measures. Check the following link:
