I'll start the post with the 'big picture'. At the moment my 84 Camaro has a plain rear windscreen (no demister), and I want to put one on that has a demister.

Now for the potentially stupid question......

I've found a rear windscreen that has a working demister but the bootlid is a (very) little rotten. How do I separate the 2 ?

The bootlid on mine is A O.K. and I have the thought that I could change just the glass and keep my bootlid.

Does anyone know how to do this ?
