a quick question

hey, i know this shouldn't be in this section, but this is the forum i always look at. i just wanted to know if anyone has had their car shipped to them from out of state, how it works, and how much it costs. i am in wisconsin, and if i buy a car i want one that has no rust and is a 305 v8 5-speed, with t-tops. i would like an I-Roc. i don't think i will find this car in wisonsin, and if i find one out of state, i might consider getting it shipped to me instead of going to pick it up. so i just want to know how this all works and what you would recommend.

Re: a quick question

ok, never mind about the prevous question. i found a camaro in wisconsin and i want to know if it is priced right. the car is an '88 camaro RS coupe. it has a rebuilt 5.0 in it that has about 12000 miles on it and a rebuilt trany with 10000 miles on it. it has absolutely no rust (was a florida car, only a wisconsin car for a short time). it has a 2 1/2 inch cowel hood. the paint is only a couple years old and the weatherstripping is the same age as the paint. it has t-tops and all four disk breaks. the guy selling it wants $5000 for it, and i want to know if that is a reasonable price for it.

Re: a quick question

well ima answer anyway...i live in texas, bought a car in virginia, (on ebay) spent $500 having it picked up from the sellers house and brought to the nearest location to me (about 100miles away), i could have had it brought to my door for $650

i used DAS (dependable auto shippers), mainly because they where the cheapest for me, that i could find that i was pretty sure would do it right and not crew me over.

took about two weeks, car arrived exactly as the pictures and description from ebay so i believe its at least somwhat reliable...that said, i would NEVER use anything like this for a really nice car unless i had to.
