welcome & congrats. my best suggestion would be to continue scanning 3rd. gen.org . you will get tons of info. & ideas . another is to start and finish 1 , repeat one project at a time . don't start 3 or 4 at a time finish one then start the next . good luck .
Re: Intro/suggestions
Hi,
I have restored a few of these, they are a lot of fun and fairly inexpensive to restore as there are still plenty of them in the boneyard. If it were me, i would remove the chrome wheel molding and the decals around the door locks, and then get some new wheels. Those wheels dont do much for the car. You need to decide if you want to fix the body first, or do engine mods. Do you have the v6 or the 305 in it?

I have the 2.8, and yah I know I really need to get some new weels, I was thinking of getting some iroc wheels,(how much do they go for?), anyways I will most likely begin with the body, but I would like to do a few mods to the engine just to get me satisfied, and so I could have a little fun

Welcome to TGO and the thirdgen brotherhood. Advice? Have a well-considered plan, stick to it--and whatever you do, do it right the first time (for example, "I don't really have the money for the headers I want, so I'll get these cheapies for the time being). Not doing it right the first time ends up costing more in the long run--ask me how I know
Please yourself with various upgrades. It's your car. Oh, the junk yard is your friend. Much of my car is equipped with judiciously chosen JY parts. The last set of IROC wheels I purchased (at a swap meet) cost me $100. More likely, the cost will be in the $2-300 range.
